In The School for Good and Evil, Beatrix is very mean to both Sophie and Agatha, often calling Agatha offensive names and repeatedly humiliating Sophie in front of Tedros. Neither Agatha nor Sophie like her much, which doesn't change in their second year at the new School for Girls.

Neither girls liked her either, which didn't change until the events at the School for Girls where in she praises them for freeing princesses from princes, girls from boys, women from men. She never really liked either girl and continually called Agatha offensive things, and humiliating Sophie in front of Tedros. She never really liked Sophie, being her 'rival' for Tedros' heart. She was upset when she found out that Tedros was interested in Agatha. She acted quite nice to Agatha for a while, but didn't really take much of a liking to her. She becomes much more friendly and selfless, yet, like the Beatrix we read about in the first book, she despised men. She, among many other characters, had some character growth as the second installment of the trilogy came out. And, like most Evergirls, she puts looks above anything else. Supposedly, she's the 'ideal princess'- beautiful, kind, loving and anything else that falls under that category. Later on, she admits that she misses her hair (possibly regrets shaving it off), and keeps hair extensions and other beauty supplies inside a trunk that can be found under her bed.īeatrix might come off a stereotypical mean girl who falls in love with the most popular guy at school ( Tedros) as a first impression. In the second book, as part of the Debeautification process in the School for Girls, Beatrix gives up on her appearance, deciding to shave off all her hair, becoming bald. Her golden blond hair fell to her waist, she has topaz eyes and succulent lips, and she was 'tall and ravishing'.
